About Us

The Melos Institute is a nonprofit think tank located just south of San Francisco in the coastal city of Pacifica, California. 

We focus solely on nonprofit membership-based organizations, more commonly known as associations. We bring together a community of distinctive thinkers and innovators who are intent on identifying and sharing critical, forward-looking, processes and practices. These will assure their members of these organizations a more rewarding membership experience.

Our research efforts bring together association professionals, academics, interested individuals, and content-experts who understand the significant impact these organizations have and can have on our society. They are interested in exploring new avenues to facilitate that end. The subsequent findings are converted into a wide range of learning mediums and made available on a complimentary basis or at affordable cost.
