Milo W. Woodward
Ms. Woodward has dedicated over 35 years’ as a public health official for Department of Health with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Her public health expertise included overseeing programs and recommending public health policies in the area of maternal and child health, prenatal care, family planning services as well as services for children with special health care needs.
Ms. Woodward’s success in advancing public health programs for the residents of the state of Pennsylvania was achieved in large part because of her close work and involvement with the federal government officials, community-based organization professionals, as well as working with volunteer and staff leaders of statewide community organizations. She spearheaded several ground-breaking projects in the area of public health that improved the health outcomes for marginalized populations.
Ms. Woodward holds a BA from Carnegie-Mellon University. She has also been an active volunteer in the Harrisburg community, more recently serving as the president on the board of directors for Camp Curtin YMCA.
